Scepticism at the pub

I’d been very excited about listening to the Little Atoms host at “Reading Sceptics in the Pub”. Sadly he was marooned on the M25. Cafe Scientifique would never have let everyone down in this manner. On the plus side, I had great chats with a handful of people with a wide range of backgrounds. Best part was observing how these people participate and how well it relates to the TCP/IP collision detection protocol. Some people have burning issues to discuss. Seeing them try and introduce the subjects against the flow was fun. The attendees are volunteers – they are not obliged to listen to you so try and be entertaining. It’s possible to let someone else speak but use them as a base for your questions to promote your perspective.
